Day 02 | Delhi Local Sightseeing
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day exploration of Delhi, a city where timeless history meets vibrant modern life.Start your day with a visit to Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial and cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, where an eternal flame burns in his honor. Surrounded by lush gardens, this site is a place of quiet reflection and national pride.Next, proceed to the grand Red Fort (Lal Qila), an iconic 17th-century fortress built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the fort stands as a symbol of India's rich Mughal past and hosts the Prime Minister’s Independence Day address each year.Continue to Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in India, also built by Shah Jahan. The mosque features an expansive courtyard, soaring minarets, and striking marble domes — a masterpiece of Islamic architecture.From here, immerse yourself in the vibrant chaos of Chandni Chowk, one of Delhi’s oldest and busiest markets.
