Upon your arrival at Haridwar Railway station/Dehradun Airport, you’ll be greeted by our tour manager who will assist you with a scenic drive towards hotel,Check into your hotel and take some time to unwind.Haridwar, meaning "Gateway to Vishnu," is a sacred town where the Char Dham Yatra traditionally begins. Interestingly, the town's name changes based on the faith of the pilgrims—Haridwar for Vaishnavites (devotees of Lord Vishnu) and Hardwar for Shaivites (followers of Lord Shiva), with Hari referring to Vishnu and Har to Shiva.The spiritual heart of Haridwar is Har Ki Pauri, believed to be the spot where the holy River Ganga emerges from the mountains and enters the plains. This sacred ghat is also known as Brahma Kund, as legend says a drop of amrit (nectar of immortality) fell here during the celestial event of Sagar Manthan—the great churning of the ocean—while being carried by Garuda.Spend the evening soaking in the spiritual atmosphere and perhaps witnessing the famed Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a truly mesmerizing experience.Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 02 | Haridwar - Guptkashi ( 250 Km 08-09 Hrs )
After a hearty breakfast, check out from your hotel in Haridwar or Rishikesh and begin your scenic drive to Guptkashi, a spiritually significant town nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas.En route, make a stop at the renowned Dhari Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali. This sacred shrine is uniquely situated on a rock in the middle of the Alaknanda River at Kalyasaur, near Srinagar. It is believed that the goddess changes her appearance three times a day – a truly mystical experience.On reaching Guptkashi, visit the revered Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the Ardhnarishwar Temple, representing the combined form of Shiva and Parvati. Also explore Manikarnika Kund, where it is believed the streams of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers merge – a spiritually significant confluence.According to Hindu mythology, the Pandavas came here in search of Lord Shiva to seek forgiveness for their sins after the Mahabharata war. Day 03 | Guptkashi - Sonprayag - Kedarnath ( 35 Km By Road + 16-18 Km Trek )
After an early breakfast (served en route), begin your journey towards the sacred shrine of Kedarnath. First, drive to Sonprayag. From here, take a local jeep/shared vehicle (at your own cost) to reach Gaurikund, the base point for the Kedarnath trek. Gaurikund holds immense religious significance—it is believed that Goddess Parvati (Mata Gauri) performed penance here to win Lord Shiva’s heart. A temple dedicated to her stands near the hot water spring that still flows in the area.From Gaurikund, start your 18 km uphill trek to Kedarnath, which runs along the banks of the Mandakini River. The route is challenging, winding through rugged Himalayan terrain, steep climbs, and narrow paths.As you ascend, you'll witness breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks, alpine forests, and the spiritual energy that draws thousands of pilgrims every year. The trail is dotted with refreshment stalls, resting points..Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in to your camp or lodging.In the evening, attend the soulful aarti at Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, set against the majestic backdrop of the snow-clad Himalayas Overnight stay in Kedarnath in camps or guest accommodation..
Day 04 | Kedarnath - Triyuginarayan Temple - Sonprayag (Trek / Pony 16-18 Km 06-07 Hrs )
Start your day early by attending the morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple, soaking in the divine energy of this sacred shrine.Afterward, visit nearby spiritual sites:Bhairav Temple – Located on a hilltop behind the Kedarnath Temple, it offers panoramic views and holds great religious significance,Shankaracharya Samadhi – The final resting place of Adi Shankaracharya, who is credited with reviving Hinduism and establishing the Kedarnath shrine.Begin your trek back to Gaurikund, then proceed to Sonprayag via shared transport.If time and energy permit, visit the Triyuginarayan Temple, a historically significant temple where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were believed to have been married, with an eternal flame burning since that time overnight stay at a hotel in Sonprayag or nearby (Sitapur/Guptkashi) depending on your accommodation.
Day 05 | Sonprayag - Joshimath - Badrinath ( 220 Km 08-09 Hrs )
Morning: Departure from Sonprayag After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Badrinath to Joshimath.The route offers beautiful views of the Garhwal Himalayas, river valleys, and pine-covered slopes.En Route visit Joshimath pass through Joshimath, a key spiritual and transit point. Time permitting, you may briefly stop to view:Narasimha Temple,Shankaracharya Math continue your ascent towards Badrinath.On arrival in Badrinath, check in to your hotel and rest for a while Pilgrims can take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund (natural hot spring) before temple darshan.Evening: Darshan and Aarti Visit the sacred Badrinath Temple, one of the revered Char Dham shrines.Attend the evening Aarti, a spiritually uplifting experience amidst the serene mountain setting.Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 06 | Badrinath - Haridwar / Rishikesh ( 320 Km 09-10 Hrs )
Start your day with a serene view of the Badrinath Temple from your window. After breakfast, visit any remaining local sights or perform darshan if not done earlier. Once done, pack your bags and bid farewell to the sacred town of Badrinath.En route, we’ll pass through Rudraprayag and Srinagar Garhwal, eventually reaching Devprayag, the divine confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. From this point onward, the river is known as the holy Ganga. Take a short break to witness this spiritually significant site.Upon arrival in Haridwar/Rishikesh check into the hotel overnight stay.
