Day 06 | Pahalgam - Betaab Valley - Chandanwari - Aru Valley - Pahalgam
This morning after breakfast visit 03 famous sightseeing point of Pahalgam –Betaab Valley-Chandanwari- Aru Valley Pahalgam –Betaab ( Direct Payment Basis) will visit Betaab Valley. Betab valley is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 Kilometres from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the sunny Deol- Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The valley is towards the northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. The Valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation.Chandanwari is situated 16 kms from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledding on a snow bridge. Aru Valley, Aru is located about 12 kms from Pahalgam, 11 kms upstream from Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. Day 08 | Katra - Vaishnodevi Temple - Katra ( No Vehicle)
Early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. From Katra to Vaishno Devi, the pilgrimage is about 12 kms. After visiting the temple we returned back to Katra the same day. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 09 | Katra - Shiv Khori - Katra ( 80 Km 03-04 Hrs )
Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Shiv Khori - the Holy Cave abode of Lord Shiva situated at a distance of 80 Kms from Katra. The cave is a real wonder to be seen and measures nearly half a kilometer in length with a 4 feet high naturally formed Shiva-lingam at the heart of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Have darshan of Lord Shiva, The time required to trek to Shiv Khori is about 1.5 - 02 hours to reach the shrine and 45 minutes to return. The trek is about 3.5 kilometers long and can be done on foot or by pony.If time permits, en route, visit Siar Baba waterfalls, Baba Dhansal & Nau Devis later return to Katra hotel Overnight.
Day 10 | Katra - Patnitop - Katra ( 90 Km 03-04 Hrs )
This morning after breakfast, a day excursion drive towards Patnitop,Patnitop from Katra (90 kms distance). Which is a 03 to 04 hours drive from Katra.
